I'm in a black gospel church where music is the means of being in the spirit. Doc Watson is black and is singing, behind a guitar, in a "dirt band." I am in an endless line of singers be-bopping up and down stairways and clapping our hands. It's all about the music, which is the chord connecting us to the spirit, which definitely appreciates rhythm and blues.
