Dream #333

I was sitting on a couch in a room that I don't recognize, chatting with a man and woman who were apparently my friends in the dream, but who do not exist in reality. I receive an automated phone call on what is apparently the house line. The call informs me that a warrant for my arrest has officially been issued. This came apparently as no surprise to me, but my friends were shocked. I told them, in a rather detached fashion, that I had run a red light in Virginia. The VA traffic system left me an automated message informing me of that, and telling me I should go to the courthouse and pick up my ticket so I could pay it. I found this to be unacceptable, as it was quite far from my house, so I never went. Weeks later the system called me again to tell me that I now had an automatically scheduled court date, due to not paying the ticket. The court date was at the same courthouse though, so again I did nothing. This lead to the warrant being issued, which I was still not impressed by. My friends were amazed by the story, but I acted like it was no big deal. I cahnged the subject back to normal conversation, but soon after I woke up.
