Dreaming of an ex

My ex and i broke up about a year ago, however every now and then i dream about him. We dont talk constantly, i'd say a couple times every few weeks or so. In my dream usually he shows up somwhere unexpectedly and then he kisses me and says hes sorry everything will be alright.. and it feels like things are normal and were back together. and we are doing the things we use to do together and i feel so happy again. I dont understand why i have these dreams, i thought i have moved on.

i have dreams like that too, although i have had a different boyfriend for over 2 years now. its really frustrating and the only explanation i can come up with is that he was my first love. and as the saying goes "you never forget your first love". ugh.
