I am asleep in my room when suddenly I feel like I am not alone. I sit up and look at my window to see a silhouette of a man in the window and I get scared. I try to scream but cannot make noise. I cannot see the face and try to get our of bed but I can only crawl. The silhouette starts to climb through the window and come after me. I crawl to the door and it is locked, so I feel helpless. Just when the shadow reaches me I wake up.

maybe your dream is saying that your not alone;when you are alone, and the scared feelings is something that you don't want 2 let go from. you feel helpless; but your not, because everything works out at the end.And the darkness is something that your hiding or haven't revealed yet.

It sounds like you are feeling ineffective in your waking life. You are trying to scream, but cannot. A locked door could be about you feeling locked out of an opportunity to be free of something disturbing you (your shadow self parhaps?). You can only crawl, so you aren't feeling very powerful in your current life.
You should also google "sleep paralysis", it sounds like a sleep paralysis type of dream where there is a sinister presence and you are helpless. It's also sometimes referred to as the "hag syndrome."
