I will leave you with a nice disco vibe from Tony Sanchez's Hiroshima production. take care, dudes
PS: cant edit the "file under" anymore,
as you guess i wanted to upload smth

"WOMEN" by Black Sun from BLACK SUN II (1980)

I'm de retour, thanks Phat
for the note (:
Bet two or three chimneys
didn't know this lp earthed.
The title track on the 2nd
Black Sun LP has some
passages that are just so
freakin' phenomenal that
you won't recover. Check
on the kick ass afro break
in Phil & The Friends fashion,
and then the unbelievably
catchy shit that goes from
3:30 bringing the whole bitch
to a Lindstroem sorta cosmic
floornuke with such a nice
melody and matching bass.
The vocals are not exactly
the most sophisticated, but
who cares?! I planned on
holding this back until i find
me a 2nd copy, but seems
this is not anywhere on the
surface. Claims to be a
Wally Hamilton production,
recorded at Wallys place
in New Jersey 1980.
I give you Women.

 "T R O P i C" by ORM from Tropic LP (1982)

I like how the mermaids in the trees roll on the "R" sound here. Got a very anoying guitar + f*ck flute, the rest is very cool. Who will edit this? (:

"Can't remember" by The PR TV Band from Colours - Contemporary Orchestral Funk

Just another library thing at first sight, then got me totally stuck with it for repeated ten listenings. It's somewhere in this squeaking synth melody. I love it.

"Me And My Superfriends" by Black Hole from Black Hole (1978)

Black Hole was a brazilian RCA disco outfit doing these mash ups of James Bond themes and other material like Zarathustra, Close Encounters or Tarzan boiling in a pot with uptempo female vocals. You know the deal. What makes them considerably hot though are their nasty synth fx and some very good ideas plus the fact that Columbo won't find them without help. I sold the 7" for some nasty bucks on one of my last ebay gigs. The good track is probably the one that Gitano-Chimney is looking for - where they forgot silly billy at home and pushed the blue moroder button... I am pretty sure that this is a bit more on the chimney alley.

"Planet Of No Return" by Laser from Laser (1979)

Totally rediscovered this great album when sorting out some records the other day. I usually play the title track "Laser" in a set with Methusalems Black Hole and all the others, but the first track on the flipside: Planet Of No Return got me super hooked. Can't help it - but i see Rocky working out on this, probably running up some stairs in the milkyway (:

"Space People" by Sauveur Mallia from Spatial And Co 2

Incroyable space disco album which is probably the chicest and most wanted from all the Telemusic & Co series. I send you to hitch a ride with Sauveurs super progbitch Space People

"Astralement Votre" by Francois De Roubaix from BOF Astralement Votre (1975)

I am trying to keep the "Orbit" vibe up, that i posted last week and suddenly this 45er came into my mind. Roubaix as good as it gets and suddenly one of my favorites again. Astralement Votre Charles

"Orbit" by Jean Yves Labat from Underwater Electronic Orchestra (1976)

Gonna bring some french nuggets to chim city in the next couple of TOTDs. The Yves Labat Transition was not #1, but 2 in a way cause it houses mostly tracks he already released two years before.
Orbit is one of the tracks making the UEO LP one of the hottest plates on the planet.
