"Love Me Tomorrow" by Sergio Mendes and the Brasil 77 from Sergio Mendes and the Brasil 77

Okay. Most of the stuff revolves around my boy and he really like this 8-track I had found. So if it sounds a bit wobbly, it is cause it is from said 8-track. Listen.

"Remembering Part 2" by Thin Lizzy from Thin Lizzy

It can be hit or miss with these guys, but this most definitely is a hit. Especially in the car in the rain.

"I had to tell you" by 13th floor elevator from Easter Everywhere

The best week every. Total lack of sleep staying up with our new little guy (Porter Takehiro Skwish) and this plays this morning and while Roky might be a little crazy, his voice and the calmness of this makes me smile. Listen

"Annie" by Ronnie Lane and Pete Townsend from Rough Mix

Been doing a massive move of vinyl to the computer. All about more space. So go here and listen to this niceness.

"Carmelita" by Warren Zevon from Warren Zevon

Turns out I posted this same track some 5 years ago or thereabouts. Crazy. But when something is good, it is good. Tale of need and desperation, but you know it doesn't end well. How could it.
G.G. Allin even covered in that disturbing film about gg, and it is still good, gg and all.
Check it out.

"Jump Into The Fire" by Harry Nilsson from Nilsson Schmillsson

Okay, my Aunt bought this on cassette when I was a kid, I think for The Moonbeam Song or Without You, but I found myself drawn to this. The four other records she got me were Janis Joplin's Pearl, Woodstock 2 (the one without Country Joe's chant, but with Mountain!), Alice Cooper's Schools Out and Ray Charle's A Message From the People. She is a pretty cool Aunt.

"The Orchids" by Psychic TV from Dreams Less Sweet

I was making a mix for pal and had included this song, but by Califone and hadn't realized that theirs was a cover, but it sounded too familiar not to be... I had heard it before, I knew I had... so I dug around a bit and found the original... the orchids, I can't stop listening to it. The califone one is nice. This one is nicest.

"Step Out" by Momas and Papas from Gold

"Blindness" by The Fall from Fall Heads Roll

Watching TV... another horrid car commercial, mitubishi SUVs or something... but that pumping rhythm, driving you might say, grabs my attention... then that cranky voice... I almost shout at the television... "Thats the FALL". Too funny he is making a buck selling cars. Given all that... this one is insanely wonderful. I had not been following M. Smith like I used to and it is great to see that he still can come up with something like this...

"We could send letters" by Aztec Camera from High land, Hard rain

This has been extremely pleasant while working on a painfully dull illustration.
