"The Overture" by Eduard Artemyev
from Selected Works CD
Rere! It is a soundtrack from a movie "Tass upolnomochen zayavit"(1984). It was not published anywhere and it was possible to find in the Internet only the cut out piece from a film of bad quality.
Nevertheless this main theme has been found on a disk which has been published last year.

"Three comrades" by Eduard Artemyev
from Territory Of Love (CD)
One of my most favourite tracks of Eduard Artemyev is "3 Tovarishya" (Translated as: Three comrades).
This one from the soviet moovie "At Home among Strangers". There is also other version of this song, it is longer on time (5:06) with drums. In these weekend I shall show it also.
Is a 1974 film starring Anatoly Solonitsyn and directed by Nikita Mikhalkov. It's Russian language title is Svoy sredi chuzhikh, chuzhoy sredi svoikh. Some hail it as the most significant of osterns. Like many Soviet films of the period, it was mainly in colour, but had certain short scenes in black and white. Its English title has numerous variants, and this in part has hindered success in English speaking countries, along with particularly bad dubbing when it was first released in them. Variants range from a full length translation of the Russian title - At home amongst strangers, a stranger amongst friends to At home among the Strangers.
