"Sister Golden Hair" by America
from Hearts

"Bwoon Dub" by AFX
from Analord 2
What a f*ing day in the SFC! Feeling the breeze of the bass at the desk headphoning and loving it! Had lunch in the sun and now tracking the entire Analord collection. Oh yeah, and earning the bread. First time full play through on the 11 sets I have. That's a good man AFX. For sure earned the title. Feel free.
"H" by Apparat
from Peel Sesssions 2004
Love this session. 4 tracks total So funny cuz Peel get's mixed up at the beginning thinking he's playing the wrong track. "I thought I was playing the incorrect track because I heard the sax. I didn't think anyone from Apparat played the sax." Haha. This track in particular is pretty nice.

"Way of Changes" by Klaus Schulze
from Blackdance
Sweet track. I'll take a rollercoaster brain ride on a massage table any day to this superior composition of neurotronic space travel.
"City Middle" by The National
from Alligator
This song is so amazing. The mixing in of the choral track is subtle and delicious. I cannot stop listening to this album lately and there is nothing wrong with that.
What a great weekend! Happy birthday Coworker!

"A Sailors Life" by Fairport Convention
from Unhalfbricking
So good. This track is saving my life at work today. So fluid and well recorded. Pure jam.

"Everything I do" by Bryan Adams
from "Everything I do sucks"
At the nail place, HUGE ANIT TRACK! Thank you so much for reminding me of that particular escalating-to-insanity reprise. Now I will have to have my brain erased.

"Fall" by Devendra
from Rejoicing...
It's a sweetie.

"ALL THEY CAN PLAY" by The National
from EVERY SINGLE ONE
If I were any more of a fan of live National I would made of plastic and IN YOUR FACE. The show at Mezzanine last night was f*ing supreme in all ways. Berninger and the brothers four (plus the new guy) played above and beyond any silly errors the rook sound guy could have made. The National gives a $15 dose of "live therapy" via Matt's lyrics and Aaron's melodies without the $100 hourly charge, grim office and cheap tea. That damn drummer is so great to watch and his brother is the spitting image of a 20 year old H.S. Thompson. The dynamic song writing, peel your heart off the wall lyrics and killer live set arrangement makes The National, in my gray matter, the best band to get yo ass of the couch and see any night of the week.
By the way, for those of you in LA, tivo "Lost" tonight and get out to the Troubador. Later taters.
"Any Major Dude Will Tell You" by Steely Dan
