"Don't Think About It" by Antena
from Seaside Week End
Some songs get skipped on my iPod because I have to be in the right mood to hear them. This is NOT one of those songs.
"Adventure Party" by Young Gentlemen's Adventure Society

I don't have a top ten new releases of 2011 list, but if I did...this mysterious white label would be right there. Crazy energy in this acid/italo/piano house jammer. Hilariously small run of vinyl, with just one copy for sale out there on the web. No digital release, either...so enjoy this youtube clip! Happy New Year's to all the Chims worldwide.

"Carol Of The Bells" by Steve Moore

Seasons greetings from Philadelphia. Happy holidays to you and yours! Love, Darklord.

"Excited" by Beautiful Swimmers
from If This Is House I Want My Money Back 2
Crazy WBMX-style italo house from the 'Swimmers...complete with vocal samples and unexpected key changes all over the damn place.
Gripped a file from Juno. To support the DC, grab it here.

Recently re-recorded an old demo tune from 2004. My usual fare...dark & stormy Moog Rogue and a Crumar Orchestrator over a chugging SCI Drumtraks beat. Feel free to grip a 320 of this and my previous track on my Soundcloud page. Hope you dig it!

"Donme Dolap (Baris K Edit)" by Modern Folk Uclusu feat. Aysegul Aldinc
from Istanbul 70 (Psych Disco Folk Edits by Baris K Vol 3)
On repeat all week. Such a killer tune!
Not for sale on Juno, but I snagged mine from Discogs Digital, and I think there's a link to buy it from iTunes via the Soundcloud page.
"Hebu" by Mim Suleiman
from Tungi
Maurice Fulton knocking it WAY out of the park here. Whole album is interesting, but this one is just crazy. Can't escape that groove...

"Final Area BGM" by Bucky
from Exorcist 8-bit
My younger brother is a whiz on that Famitracker program. He cooked up a few Imaginary soundtracks to failed NES adaptations (The Exorcist, Wicker Man, Twin Peaks RPG), and I think this one is my favorite of the bunch.
I can totally picture the game now...impossible controls, frustrating jumps, having to combat ghouls that aren't even in the movie, etc. The kind of NES game that no kid ever beat, even with Game Genie.

"Il Suono Scuro IV" by Darklord
from
It's the time of the season, and I'm back with the 4th edition of my annual all-OST mix series. Lots of Chimney-approved nuggets in here, and possibly some unknowns! Somebody online said that it was the perfect mix for "carving pumpkins or carving up backpackers." I couldn't agree more...
If anybody wants a FREE physical copy, hit me up via PM with your address.
