"Love On A Real Train (Analog Basement Chicago Commuter Mix)" by Tangerine Dream
from
"Rehearsal Bootleg / Live Jam" by Land of Light
from Soundcloud
Live it's a whole other animal.
"Big River, Small Boat" by Dancing Fantasy
from Midnight Blvd.

From the back cover:
"This is currently the hottest New Instrumental Music around. If you wanna' groove, if you dig the rhythm generation that comes AFTER "New Age", if you want to relax without getting bored, if you want to groove without being overpowered - this record is for you!"
This record is for me (and you).
"Elegia [Full Version]" by New Order
from Low Life
Getting lost in the full version of this one. Melletrony sounds are perfect.

"The Green Place, Part 1" by Steve Roach
from Quiet Music
My 5 day old daughter's favorite jam to chill out to after a feeding.
(T to the original poster of the File Under)

"Sunset Drive" by Tangerine Dream
from Wavelength
Deepest TD vibes to kick off exceptional mix on Root Blog website.

"Romantic Voyage" by Vanity
from Skin On Skin
Member of the early 80s Prince crew who was first in Vanity 6 then dropped the 6 to go out on her own.
Most of the other tracks sound like Prince-lite but this could be from a Kate Bush album (probably why it grabbed my ear). Romantic Voyage.

"Build The Band (at 33rpm)" by COS/MES
from Unclear
Not sure what release this track is originally from but this is a spaced out funk strut sounding much different than most of the stuff on the Chaosexotica album. Maurice Fulton-esque slapped bass styles all over it.
Build The Band (at 33rpm) by COS/MES
"B.S.E." by Young Galaxy
from Shapeshifting
These guys seem to improve with each record. Their newest is poppier and little more electronic than the previous records. Very solid throughout which I think is the rarity these days - lots of bands can write a good tune or two, few can fill up a whole album worth listening to start to finish. This one had me hitting the repeat button the most - kind of sound like some of those great Rubies tracks that have been posted on DC.
A nice track to start the morning with.
