I was all set to drop another track as my track of the day, and then we got this ep in the office. I the original version of this track came out on that Future Soundtrack for America comp that came out this time last year, but John Roderick and Co. have droned it up a little bit. These guys have always had a special place in my heart for bringing back Sean Nelson from Harvey Danger (who has since departed).
Anyway, this track is that one second where your life flashes before your eyes in song form...someone will probably put it on a car crash scene on the OC this season, one of those slow motion moments where ryan thinks about Kirsten, Sandy, Seth, and Marissa (in that order) just as the Landrover rolls into the Pacific at Dana Point or Laguna Nigel. And pre-teens everywhere will cry, which is okay, because I kinda feel the same way every time this track winds down.
