yeah, bodom is wild stuff; i like 'em because it sounds like a group of mozart fanatics got really drunk and pissed off and recorded something. i have a hard time with genres, especially in metal. people will spend way too much time coming up with genres for each band... "symphonic-melody scandavian death metal" or something like that is what people call bodom... i just stick with "death metal."

anyways, blue cheer could totally be added to that list:

iconSabbath is absolutely, 1000% metal. Led Zeppelin is a bit of a stretch in the classic sense of metal, but they certainly got heavy and rip just as hard.

Well . . . I gave it a shot. Made it in maybe 10 seconds. If I were born maybe 20 years later it may have worked. When I was into metal it was Zep and Black Sabath. Now days the young folks tell me neither of those qualify as metal. Not aggro enough. So . . . Since when is lead not heavy. ?

Well clearly, like all human endeavors, ours has factionalized... which is a bummer.

I have had numerous times going through old posts where people uploaded a track only to have it no longer on a server... so it seems like either way, sometimes you find dead links.
