Zero 7 "Passing By" from When it Falls

I just got these rad little speakers set up at work and I can plug my iPod right into them. Very basic, but I'm really excited by them. I recently got a burned copy of this album and it's really starting to grow on me. I had always listened to Zero7 at my friends house at BBQ's and just hanging out but had never purchased an album of my own. This song has the female vocals and is just perfect. The lyrics are rad and her voice is gorgeous.

and buzz, i don't know how they did it. but he just made it sound like a beck song--slow, melodic, beautiful, heartful, solid, yet refreshingly amusing at the same time. it couldn've been a bonus track on Sea Change. if you call me up i can sing it for you, or at least try. let me know and i'll give you my number. |

trippiest thing ever. when i saw Beck up in SF at Paramount, the lead singer of Zero 7 came out and they covered "the one that i want" from grease. i laughed at first, but it was amazing...so i stopped laughing and just enjoyed the song quite a bit. It's such a shame he's just as retarded as Tom Cruise. |
