Wow. Heard this on classic rock radio this morning, and had to roll up all the windows, close my eyes, and listen. Just a gorgeous little piece of 70s art pop. Did you know the vocals required 256 overdubs (according to allmusic.com) for the full, ethereal effect? Also flows very nicely on the soundtrack to the film The Virgin Suicides, (Emperor Norton) next to songs by Todd Rundgren and Air.
