this record got busted out by JayWar and I during the Light Mic Sessions for reference on that Tortwah-Morricone guitar tone. the disc has been sitting here at the rig ever since and i just popped it in for a morning cruise. and lest you've forgotten, this record is totally rad. indie-prog at its absolute finest. hard to believe this is nearly 10 years old btw.

Rad! CC all the way. This album is so very awesome. I had the Japanese version of it with about 25 minutes of b-sides and what-not compiled on there, but somehow got lost in a move or to and fro work... Badly need to repurchase.
On the tortoise/morricone guitar tip, the last time I saw them play I got super-into McCombs on that baritone fender. Raddest tone. |
