Ok All you Eno-Philes, here's my first eno-related TOTD! The Winkies were Eno's backing band for his first post -roxy music single & subsequent tour for "Here come the warm jets" . They were apparently the glammiest of the "pub-rock" bands at the time. The record is a pretty stonesy affair with lots of slide guitar rock and 4 on the floor boogie. A nice little record!
