unexpected beautiful music from a group i never investigated because everything i've ever heard about them sounded questionable. but while chinchillin' in sb a generous friend burned this for me and casually mentioned, "you might like this". i've been sucked into it ever since. i love that. epic, mostly instrumental, swelling, sad and triumphant at the same time. these are just typical vague attempts to describe something that i can't articulate in words, emotional stuff...a bit deliberate, but tastefully arranged. at first i kept asking myself, "am i emo now"? but then i just sat back in the sun and had me some fun.
