been really feeling this homemade power-pop-prog goodness since pulling it at a berkeley thrift a few months ago. the record is out of burlingame from 1980 and is on some serious suspended adolescence pop savant vibes. dude plays everything and goes from serious rundgren damage to epic genesis moves in the blink of an eye. it borders on goofball about half the time but that's all part of the charm. sorry i don't have mp3s but this link has 3 jams, of which "city things" is my favorite. lots more to appreciate from this LP, too, if you're lucky enough to find one.
