First heard this last year, revisiting heavily again. Borrows from Reich, but blows him away in the process, IMVHO ... shifts gears exactly when it should. So recommended - all time cover, too. Dude's early discography pretty fascinating as well.
Only record of his I've heard was Sonanze. That was bit earlier than this one. Kind of electronic classical. My friend considered it symphonic prog. His analog (as in acoustic) stuff is pretty fine . . .
"Sei Note..." sounds nothing like the "Ann Steel" album whatsoever (which I do like in a Buggles kinda way). And neither of these sound like "Sonanze," his first. Pretty sure the catalog got a healthy remastering last decade, but perhaps the Record Rip Finder might be of help in the interim ...
Where can i hear this one? I saw it in an auction, was very curious and lost... The cover is amazing. Not such a fan of the Steel LP (traaaaade) though
