Totally crunchy for sure--very expensive-sounding distortions all over this mother. Not sure how much I love it all the way through, but it does cohere, and some nice surprises too, like the banging dancehall tune and some Morricone foley stuff (that clanking chain!) along w/ the twangy unison lines they're so known for busting out on occasion... |

Just got my copy on Tuesday. Prepare Your Coffin was a free download from Thrill Jockey a month back, so I was definitely ready for the rest. They're playing GAMH on the 13th, easily the place to see them . . . |
