Jim at his ruminative best. He said recently in an interview both Alan Holdsworth and John Abercrombie were key influences on his playing.... That's a joke, right?
What a build up in this. Reminds me of Keith Jarrett. It's the coming round the pentecostal/religous mountain. But no moaning. I'm sure he's thinking, in part, of that brillant scene in Bad Timing where Art Garfunkel confronts Theresa Russell: Oh, Milena, you never change.
