Willie Nelson "all" from live at Red Rocks
File Under: Rocky Mountain High

Willie was the first live show I ever saw when I was around 6 and my parents took me to see him at the old McNichols Sports Arena. All I really remember is standing on a plastic chair waiting for him to play On The Road Again, the first song I remember really liking. I have seen him many times since then from Glastonbury to Red Rocks and last night he delivered again. He played straight through for nearly two hours which was pretty amazing at his age. I just wish he played the song Denver as the bright lights of Denver, look there they are, were shining like diamonds last night. He played in a tent outside of Invesco for a special convention party the night before and had Willie Nelson For President posters in tow last night. After giving an impassioned speech at the Pepsi Center last night, Dennis Kucinich made his way to Red Rocks and came out on stage for the last song and did a little dance. Yes, Cleveland does rock. Willie with Governor Ritter and Senator Salazar on his bus the night before.
