one night after dinner I got in the car and this song was playing on the radio with amazing axelrod style drums and strings and some sweet soul harmonies. I thought it was marvin, but no dice. just kicking it at home cooking and listening to the tasty oldies on kiss and they played my mystery tune. score!

I remember sometime around 1996 I convinced Sorcerer to go with me and my girlfriend to go see the Delfonics and a bunch of other groups in Ventura, CA. At the end of the show (literally as the curtain came down on the Chi-Lites) all the gangsters in the theater erupted into a full blown riot, with chairs flying and everything. We had to bolt out the emergency exit!
