I revisited this album last night for the first time in a long time. Every single sound contained in this record is evocative, drawing you in, and shrouded in blissful haze. This record makes me want to pin down any fool who thinks Radiohead is the most important band ever and force them to listen. Not that Radiohead arent doing something interesting, but you definitely heard it here first. Just compare the reverb treatment on In Rainbows (which everybody is so freaking out about) and realize that this record was doing it cooler and better.

Agreed and then you probably heard it second on Bark Pyschosis's Hex. But nothing really touches Laughing Stock. Definite late night listening sessions.
