yeah its always awesome to hear her on Dylan's Desire too.. man she got all the classy gigs... I remember hearing an interview with Joan Baez and she was all bent out of shape about his new girl who was "stealing" her style.. Whatever! |

I picked up a fresh copy of Grievous Angel this past weekend with Emmylou adding her voice to every song but one. Funny I always think of that as her first album, when it's Gram's 2nd. She shines on that one too. Can't help thinking of Gram when she sings these sort of tunes. |

yeah, it almost sounds kind of lo fi and distorted.. I heard that sometimes uses an SM57 for vocals.. |

he really loves that vocal mic he uses...i can hear the same vox qualities that are on Shine in this recording. spacious recording...one room stylee. |
