unbelievable! truly an awe-inspiring, two and a half hours of flawless performances from George's closest friends & family. hard to think of a more fitting tribute for remembering George 1 year after his passing than playing his music. (so i got this as a gift and the DVD set has the concert in its entirety and a different theatrical version. i'm talking here about the full concert in its entirety.) you'll even start to forgive eric clapton and paul mccartney for their recent sins as they turn in simply stunning and classy renditions of George's music. and check out billy preston straight OWNING shit up on stage with performances of "Beware of Darkness" and "My Sweet Loard" that will make you well up. Ravi Shankar's daughter opens the set with some absolutely INSANE indian music and sitar work specially written for the occasion. an astonishing document both of George's impact on music and the people around him. if you're a George fan, or just a plain old music fan, you need to run to the nearest store and buy/rent this immediately.
