Continuing the thread Space started yesterday, the movie Jaz mentioned - Last Days of Disco, was on last night. It does feature Dolce Vita but it was the classic Chic tune that I woke up to. Its hard not to get this stuck in your head after listening to it.

a dvd release is in the works, but the vhs is easy to come by. all of Whit stillman's movies are fantastic! check the Criterion edition of metropolitan. a more high-brow anderson/baumbach-type film-maker.
