soooooo happy to have my turn table operational again. i was only getting one channel for a while and it SUCKED cos i have about 200 records sitting out here just begging to played. this was one of them and it wanted to rule so hard it nearly jumped onto the turntable by itself. good thing it did too cos these are jazzy-fusion-esque street groove jams with some serious los angeles soul. some of these cuts straight sprawl but never descend into the proggy wankitude that they could. just tight, funk-filled rhythms for the groovin'. dig foo'...
