Tortoise "Didjeridoo" from A Lazarus Taxon

After a couple months digesting this trove of Tortoise gems I keep coming back to this tune which is a cover of an Ellington track from '71's 'Afro Eurasian Eclipse'. The most interesting thing, to me, on both of the versions is the abscence of a didjeridoo. Tortoise approximates the weird warbly tones of that peculiar instrument with analog synth blurps. Dukes band does it with bari sax and bass trombone. Both versions are killer tracks. Didjeridoo
