Listen to Deadweight on Velveteen.
I don't know what to do. I feel like my life has been altered in some way that i can't quite figure out. This album is running through my veins more than Patron and Jameson combined. it's the most beautiful record i've heard since, well, Takk, but before that, i don't know. i could go on and on about this record, but, for now, i'm at a loss for words. all i can do is try to get the word out. as James put it, "this dude is gonna be huge!"

I have that one too. i can't BELIEVE he covered a Knife song. I heard of the knife because i bought a 12-inch called Pass This On with remixes by Putsch 79 and 2020 Soundsystem. then a year later...the bravia commercial, then all of this. so weird. i love it though...the web of music makes me happy! |

Have you guys heard that song 'Heartbeats' recorded by the ones who wrote it - The Knife? I know Jose's version works wonders for that Sony commercial, but the Knife version is pretty fresh, too. I'll hoist that up on the interweb if you like. |

this is really rad. I have been so busy at work, I haven't had a chance to post songs, but luckily I logged in today to catch this one. in a few weeks, i'll be able to slack off a little bit and start posting tracks again. |

As of yesterday, I am huge fan of this guy. I need to get this record. It seems more Kings of Convenience than Nick Drake, but I'm down with the way his voice sounds. I had to play it for the missus when I came home. |
