i think i finally discovered my perfect music: nyabinghi krautrock. from sweden. these dudes were parson sound, then international harvester, the harvester, then trad gras och stenar, then something else i think. when they switched over from international harvester to just harvester, i guess they just went acoustic but kept going for the long trance-inducing jam/chant hippie commune vibe. i can't help but draw a parallel between what these dudes were doing and count ossie/cedric brooks thing jamming in the jungle. like if count ossie was also waayyy into terry riley. it also sounds kind of like that scene in "lord of the rings" when the orks are being born. but triumphant rather than scary. and the orks had dreadlocks so i guess they were kind of irie, too.
