I pretty much had to rent that Buck Rogers DVD to see this episode after stumbling apon it last week just to hear what exactly they used as "Space Rock" for that band. Once it started i recognized the track but couldnt figure it out exactly. Luckily there was an interview from Johnny Harris online saying how K.C. & the Sunshine band were watching episode and wanted to release it on their label and how it was later a big hit in the clubs. He names the track "Odyssey" in his interview and sure enough id only just downloaded the track w/in the last month.

Pretty crazy the song was written AFTER the shots were filmed, so all the crazy keys in the track were because Johnny was trying to create what the dude in the band was doing on that futurist keyboard. Check some screen shots. Since its been used in Frankie Knuckles mix and in the new Grand Theft Auto. The dude went above and beyond on this space rock track, a classic.

yeah he plays the main bad guy in that episode. full thing is a great watch. oh yeah and Bull from Night Court also to round things off.

The band is about the most sane thing on that show. the writing and acting for all episodes are so bad its unreal. ill watch bad tv sci-fi but even i was afraid to rent this thing.

haven't checked this track yet but recognized the name from this album I have

oddly there's this 14 minute track on there which pretty much has all the dudes from Yes minus Rick Wakeman. It's nice.
